A

What is the best time of the year for diving?
You can dive the Red Sea all year round.
What sort of equipment is provided on board?
Tanks, weights and belts. Rental dive gear is available before sailing. Charges at 30€ per day for a full gear. Torches for night dives might be rented on board during the trip.
What is the water temperature? Do I need a wet suit?
From January to April you will need a full 6mm wet suit as the water could cool down to 19°C. From July to October with a water temperature of app. 26°C a 3mm wet suit will be sufficient.
How much diving experience do I need?
Diving in the Northern Red Sea is relatively easy in favorable conditions, even newly certified divers will have no trouble. VIP One Instructors offer PADI continuing education on board.
What is meant by unlimited diving?
Unlimited diving means that you can go diving any time the boat is not in transit and according to diving safety rules. You can dive up to 4 times a day.
Can I do wreck diving?
In the Northern routes you will discover the most popular wrecks in the Red Sea: the Thistlegorm, a military World War II supply ship, and Dunraven, a steam and sail-powered vessel which used to transport spice and timber. The Wreck of Chrisoula K., a Greek cargo ship, and the Giannis D., are located at Sha'ab Abu Nahas in the Straits of Gubal. Wreck diving depends on the weather condition.
Can I have privacy on board?
VIP One offers the same privacy as in a hotel with its comfortable and spacious social area, elegant cabins with queen-sized beds and en-suite bathroom.
What kind of cuisine is served?
You are offered a delicious choice of Egyptian and international meals. They can be enjoyed at your leisure in the air-conditioned dining room or on the sun-deck.

VIP One is equipped with a Sound system, TV / VCR and a large selection of video tapes. You can choose to relax on the sun-deck listening to the music or reading a book in the lounge.
