This site sits just offshore from Tiran Island and is famed for being the area where the Cunard Liner ran into the reef, resulting in a $20 Million fine from the Egyptian Government. In terms of diving the area offers more anemones and clown fish than any other in the area and the barren area left by the liner has also slowly started to recover.

The dives are often conducted in the Southern Area of the lagoon where sleeping sharks can be found on the plateau. Divers then head north where there are large table corals, the many anemones and normally one or two inquisitive napoleon wrasse.
